The Mindful Center promotes developing one's mind's capacity to attend, attune, and be aware. Psychotherapy is provided to individuals, couples, and groups to develop healthy minds in order to form healthy relationship. Dr. Brenda Frechette is a clinical psychologist trained in cognitive behavioral technique, biofeedback, systems therapy, hypnosis, somatics, and mindfulness practice. Counseling philosophy: Our aim is to help you become the best you can be---at work and in your relationships with friends and family. Dr. Frechette utilizes a number of therapeutic techniques to aid you in reaching this goal, including: cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, family systems therapy, interpersonal neurobiological therapy, and stress management strategies. Dr. Frechette specializes in health psychology---research has found that mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy can greatly improve one's capacity to cope with the stressors of health problems, as well as depression and destructive habits.
